Cut out swimsuit

After making sure I knew how to fill bobbins on my new machine, and filling one with the thread I needed for one of my daughters swimsuits, I cut out the one she wanted me to make first.

I used the rotary cutter and cut the same sizes I did with the muslin, I also made a few necessary changes adding a little width to the top front and raising the back a little.

I think this is going to turn out really cute but I do wish the flip-flops were a little smaller.

I sewed a little on the scraps and there are a couple of stretch stitches which will make it easier to sew since I won’t have to remember to stretch the fabrich while I am sewing it and wonder if I am stretching the right amount.
