Allthough I liked how the first bolero turned out, (https://alwaystimetoprocraftinate.wordpress.com/2012/09/02/bolero-part-2/) it doesn’t go as good with the dress I plan to wear to a wedding next month (sure it is a month away, but why not plan it was given to me, and needs repairs which you will see soon) because of the satin straps, waist and sash.
I got all my stuff ready to cut it out, and started to cut.
And I actually cut out the interfacing this time.
This pattern (Simplicity A1984) looks similar to one I saw at Dress Barn a while ago but didn’t get because of the price tag. The one in the store was $30. I paid 97 cents for the pattern and got the satin fabric (which matches perfectly) for only $6 thanks to a 40% of any item coupon and a 20% all fabric coupon for Joann’s.
