Glitter heels

Ok, so they are actually wedges but the part that is getting glitter is the heels.

I picked up this pair of wedges on a clearance rack for $5.

They are my most comfortable pair of wedges but I didn’t wear them much because the heel looks like wood.

I gathered my supplies,

masking tape

glitter (I choose black and crystal AB)

Outdoor mod-podge

paint brush

and of course the shoes.

I cleaned the heels and taped up where I didn’t want the glitter.

Then I mixed the glitter with mod-podge, and started painting it onto the heels.

I let it dry between coats and applied until I had the coverage I wanted.

Of course this could be done by putting the glue on then sprinkling the glitter on top but I thought this wouldn’t loose as much glitter.
