Swimsuits 2014 part 7

I got back to work on one of the swimsuits today. I started off the day by sewing over the shoulder and side seams with the stretch stitch to give it a little more durability. I didn’t do all the seams, just the ones I think will get the most wear and tear.

Using a zig-zag stitch I sewed 3/8″ clear elastic to the armholes, leg holes, and neck hole.

Then I folded over the edges and worked on finishing the edges using a twin stretch needle and stretch stitch.

I absolutely love how this is turning out! I think this is going to look like a store-bought suit!!
