McCall’s 6880 part 1

I finally started on my daughter’s Easter dress. McCall’s 6680. She has wanted a dress with an illusion neckline since seeing another kid with one at one of her school concerts.

Of course I had to gather the supplies. The lavender satin and the organza are remnants (from Wal-Mart I think) and the purple satin is from Joann’s (with a coupon of course). I also have a lavender invisible zipper and the thread I need for the project.

I cut out the sash first.

Then the organza. I will be cutting the skirt a little longer than the satin.

And the lavender satin.
