Sitting at the serger.

Well I was, and I got a lot done.

I serged all the seams on my sister’s dress, now that I know that it fits her nicely.

And my daughter’s last swimsuit of this summer. (unless of course she has a major growth spurt and outgrows them)

So far this suit seems to be coming together as good as it would have if it was 1 pattern made this way! I hope to get them both finished this week, as well as re-hemming my swimsuit top. (apparently you can’t get them on when the front lining is hemmed with the un-lined back)

  1. I still have to figure out my serger. I’ve been reading up on it and it’s so intimidating!!!
