My kids love cheese spread on crackers, while my husband and I don’t enjoy it as much as they do, we still enjoy it. We didn’t have any in the house, but have plenty of crackers. After exploring a bunch of recipes, I ended up with my own creation. And it is my new favorite cheese spread. Best of all it only has 2 ingredients.
I started with a bag of mini cubed cheese. (shredded would work too)
And put it in the food processor, since it was thick and not really spreadable, so I added milk (If it wasn’t being served to the kids beer probably would have worked too) a splash at a time until it was an easily spreadable consistency. Then I put it in a container. (and yes that container is one that came with lunch meat, they are my go-to food storage when packing lunches or making something for a get together… this one just happened to be in the dish strainer.)
And of course I had to sample.
All I know is I will be making this again and trying different cheese combinations, perhaps a beer cheese or jalapeno cheddar, maybe I will even take this to my next potluck.
