Missed a step.

I decided to try to make a batch of no flour peanut butter cookies, with one ingredient substitution. I changed the peanut butter to Nutella.

I put 1 egg, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup Nutella, and one tsp. of vanilla into a mixing bowl.

(sorry for using the stained bowl but I was afraid the Nutella would stain and didn’t want 2 stained bowls)

And mixed the ingredients thoroughly.

The peanut butter version calls for chocolate star to be placed on each cookie immediately after removing from the oven. I couldn’t find peanut butter stars so I mixed in peanut butter chips instead.

Then I scooped the cookies onto the greased pan.

And baked them at 350 for 10-12 min. (or until cracks appear)…

I ended up with bars.

I ended up with bars because the step I missed was to refrigerate the dough for 2 hours. Even with the missed step they are delicious. I will be trying them again, but this time I will remember to chill the dough.
