Fishin’ hat part 1

I don’t usually wear hats in the summer, but we plan on fishing a lot this year. So I wanted a lightweight baseball hat. I liked the pink stitching on this $3 camo hat.

After finding a design I liked, (heart with an antler and a fishing hook) I traced it onto freezer paper, and ironed it onto the hat. This was tricky because the hat wouldn’t go completely flat. I rolled up a beach towel and put and end of the roll in the hat so I could iron over the towel. I had to be careful not to touch the mesh part of the hat.

I will hope to finish the hat tonight.
