Fishin’ hat take 2

I used a sample of iron on vinyl (the stuff intend for those fancy printers that cut out things) and cut out my design.  Then ironed it in place. Ironing it was awkward, but with some help from my husband, a sauce pan and some patience we got it ironed in place.

I absolutely love how this turned out, it’s placed in a better spot and it’s there to stay. I may have to scour sales for one of those printers. Until then I will probably pick up some more iron on vinyl and use up the remaining sample.

Since I forgot to take pics I have found a video of one of those printers, using the iron on vinyl.

For anyone that doesn’t know what weeding means it is removing the vinyl pieces that you don’t want in your design.
